Welded Gabions

Welded gabion selects high-quality low carbon steel wire as its raw material, and it is processed through projection welding by high-precision automatic machinery strictly in accordance with the BS1052:1986 standard. Then surface passivation and plasticizing processing will be completed through electro galvanizing, hot-dipped galvanizing, PVC coating, and PVC spraying.

Welded gabions mainly consist of front and rear panels, bottom board, diaphragm and lid. After being welded, all the components will be assembled with spiral lacing wire and then compressed. They will be packed together with the lid. Each welded gabion product that has been folded and bound forms an independent unit. In order to meet different project requirements, a variety of wire diameters and unit sizes are available for our welded gabions. Like all gabion products during installation, all welded units need internal bracing wires and should be overfilled so as to allow for settlement of the granular rockfill.   

Major Uses:

Welded gabions are especially widely applied in some foreign countries. They are mainly used in park landscape modelling, construction external wall, business buildings and so on. In China, welded gabions are applied for urban landscape as well as park landscape. As welded gabions mainly feature convenient construction, attractive structure, low cost, high strength, and easy installation, they are the ideal choice for courtyard decoration and revetment greening.
